The HLU roof fans are designed for vertical intake and installation outside the building. With the appropriate accessories, they can also be installed horizontally. They are especially suitable for use in buildings without a ventilation center and are used in laboratories (digestories), schools and research facilities, among others. The exhaust air is blown out vertically upwards, so that the deposit of aggressive substances on the roof is minimized. The internal motor is separated from the air flow and therefore does not come into contact with the aggressive conveying medium. Rainwater falling into the exhaust opening is drained away at the bottom of the housing, which prevents water from penetrating the pipe connected on the suction side. For use in potentially explosive areas, we supply the HF roof fans in explosion-proof design according to ATEX for Zones 2 and 1.
